Times may be different but needs stay the same. Sisters of New Jersey Alpha Delta Kappa Phi chapter award two scholarships annually to exceptional young women entering the field of education.
Realizing the need to raise funds in these times of social distancing and separation, ADK past President Diane Mazzei came up with a creative and profitable solution. A dear friend, who was also a former ADK member, passed away recently and Diane was tasked with helping her friend’s husband disperse her personal possessions. With his blessing, Diane organized an online fundraiser for Phi sisters, giving them the opportunity to purchase beautiful pieces of jewelry and household treasures while supporting their annual scholarship fund.
To date, the online sale has raised $996 for chapter scholarships. Times may be very different, but ADK sisters always search for the good, in situations, in people, in life.
