Project Thanksgiving Honored in Gloucester

Gloucester County Commissioners Nick DeSilvio and Chris Konawel presented proclamations to Angela Papadopoulos and Alex Kaganzev on behalf of Gloucester County Board of Commissioners. They were honored for the work they do with Kaganzev’s non-profit Project Thanksgiving, especially the assistance that they provide to local veterans and their families. As a fellow vet, Kaganzev understands the importance of providing as much help as possible, especially considering that many of the veterans are elderly and in frail health.

Many VFW and American Legion Posts are finding themselves in financial difficulties due to dwindling membership. As a result, they are looking for support.

Project Thanksgiving is a grassroots 501c3 non-profit organization that will continue providing assistance to veterans and their families, homeless individuals and families-in-need throughout South Jersey. For more information or to make a donation, call 609-774-2499 or find them on Facebook at Project Thanksgiving NJ. They also have a website ProjectThanksgivingNJ.org.
