The Millville Recreation Department will hold its first annual Pet Photo Contest during the months of January and February.
“Anyone can enter, you do not have to be a professional photographer,” states Samantha Cruz, manager of Millville Recreation. “Adults, seniors and even children can have lots of fun taking photos and entering the amateur contest.”
Photos can range in size from 4 x 6 inches to 8 x 12 inches. Black and white or color photos are acceptable. Photographs can be dropped off at the Millville Recreation Office, 1500 S. 2nd Street. Deadline is February 23.
The rules are as follows:
- Photo must be of an animal(s)
- One entry per person.
- All photographers must be from Millville
- No digital enhancements
- Back of the photo must contain the name of photographer, address, and phone number.
Winners will be announced on the Millville Recreation Department Facebook Group and will be displayed at the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, located at 22 N. High Street, during the month of March. The winner will be professionally photographed with his or her pet by Bill Horin, ArtC.
