The Millville Woman’s Club Chorus was pleased to award its first college scholarship to Maia Morales, a 2020 graduate from Millville High School. The Chorus has enjoyed performing at numerous organizations and some of these organizations have made donations to the Millville Woman’s Club. It has been the Chorus’ goal to put some of these donations toward a scholarship for a female Millville High School senior pursuing studies in fine or performing arts. The Millville High School Guidance Department selected Maia Morales to be the best qualified student for this award. Maia has been very active with her music. During high school she sang in the chorus, was in school plays and the marching band. She also studied voice privately. Maia started her music studies at Rowan University in Glassboro in September 2020. She plans to pursue a degree in music therapy.
