Described as a place with an “intimate, family feel” as per their website, Maurice House invites the public to worship with residents each and every Sunday as they study the Bible. This Christian faith-based community group is growing weekly and is delighted to fellowship with all who may be interested. The implementation of Bible Study gives the residents a place to share their common thoughts and beliefs about Christianity, and to strengthen their personal relationship with God. “Seeing the members happy and participating makes me happy,” says Connections Director Bonnie Barker, who’s very excited by the continued attendance increase.
The Bible Study service also allows for the collective crooning of hymns, songs of praise and worship. Musicians volunteer their time and talent to play instruments and lead the residents in a sing-along.
