Mark Your Calendar: Kids’ Day At The Mansion on Saturday, October 11
A Tori’s Critters sampling of some of the expected Reptile “Visitors”
David C. Wood Mansion House, 821 Columbia Ave., Millville. 10 a.m.–2 p.m. History and science await children ages 4 to 8 at the Millville Historical Society. There will be a variety of fun activities for the children to participate in, including:
• A reading of Mary Had a Little Zoo by Deborah Boerner Ein portraying Mary Treat.

• Hands-on learning with a variety of insects and reptiles from Miss Tori’s Critters.
• Birds and binoculars lessons from Dr. Nadya Sotnychuk.
• Simple crafts such as making a paper butterfly and drawing a bird.
• Potting plants with the Master Gardeners.
• Playing the drum with Cynthia Smith.
• A Histories Mysteries Scavenger Hunt in the 1814 Wood Mansion.
• Early American games.
The cost is $5 per family; a light lunch and snacks will be provided. Children must be accompanied by a fun-loving adult. Parking is available behind the Mansion from Church Street.
