Main Street Vineland to Honor Community Partner of the Year: Dawn Hunter and the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce
Main Street Vineland is proud to recognize Dawn Hunter and the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce as Community Partner of the Year. Since 2010, Hunter has been the executive director of the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce, where she oversees more than 410 member businesses and organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an Associate of Science in Travel & Tourism and has lived in Vineland for over 20 years with her husband Joe.
Hunter serves on the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce Alliance, the Rowan College of South Jersey Entrepreneurship Advisory Committee, and several Vineland-specific committees, including the Downtown District Economic Development, Green Committee, and Public Schools Community Partnership Action Committee. She is also an active member of the Vineland Rotary Club.
In addition to her professional roles, Dawn has a long history of personal volunteerism. She was a “Big Sister” with Big Brothers Big Sisters for 10 years and remains close with her mentee. She is also an active member of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), holding leadership roles within both the local and state chapters.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions, Dawn received the inaugural NJ State Chamber Alliance Partner of the Year Award in 2023. This was followed by a State of New Jersey Joint Legislative Resolution from the Senate and General Assembly in 2024
