Inspira Health Earns Becker’s Review Rating

As health systems continue to grapple with financial pressures from rising labor and supply costs and reimbursement challenges, days cash on hand remains an important measure of financial stability.

Becker’s Hospital Review recently released a list of the top 30 health systems in the country, based on current days cash on hand as of March 31. The analysis also included a comparison of current days cash on hand with that of December 2024.

Inspira Health of Vineland came in ninth overall and showed the largest increase in days cash on hand of any of the 30 systems in the study at 239.41, up from 220.14 on Dec. 31. Most systems showed a drop from December.

Inspira was the only New Jersey system on the Becker list. Jefferson Health of Philadelphia was 24th at 117.3, down from 138.1 on December 31.

The three top systems were:

• Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian (Newport Beach, CA): 464, down from 490 on December 31.
