Inspira Health has appointed Clare Sapienza-Eck to Chief Strategy Officer, effective immediately. In this newly developed role, Sapienza-Eck will be responsible for advancing strategic initiatives of the South Jersey-based health care organization to drive long-term growth, including new investments, partnerships and other business opportunities.
Sapienza-Eck has more than 25 years of experience in health care, most recently serving as vice president of Business Development and Planning at Inspira. In her new role, she will support Inspira’s growth strategy under the leadership of CEO Amy Mansue. Alongside the full executive leadership team and the Board of Trustees, she will be responsible for overseeing the development of system-wide strategic priorities to advance the mission of Inspira Health. Sapienza-Eck will focus on strengthening the quality of Inspira’s array of services across the health care continuum, ensuring cross-functional alignment among divisions. Additionally, she will develop and expand business opportunities and relationships with physicians to broaden health care access in Inspira’s communities.
Over her career, she developed and oversaw a decade-long endeavor to consolidate three hospitals into one regional hospital in Vineland, NJ; led multiple hospital expansion projects and the establishment of new access points; and contributed to the overall expansion of Inspira’s service area in South Jersey.
Sapienza-Eck holds a BS from University of Pennsylvania, and masters of Health Care Administration and Health Care Finance from Temple University. She has been involved in health care planning and strategy at various organizations for more than three decades.
