Inspira Health recently appointed Matthew Warner, MD, MBA, CPE, FACEP, FAAEM, as chief medical officer of Inspira Medical Centers Vineland and Elmer, and Inspira Health Center Bridgeton, effective immediately. Dr. Warner will provide medical oversight, expertise and leadership to ensure the delivery of affordable quality health care to the community. In addition, he will oversee the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of quality care, consistent with Inspira’s mission to nurture healthier communities.
Dr. Warner began his nearly 20-year tenure with Inspira as an attending physician for the Department of Emergency Medicine. Since then, he has held a number of clinical and leadership positions, most recently serving as the Interim Associate Chief Medical Officer for Inspira’s Vineland, Elmer, and Bridgeton campuses. Over the course of his career, Dr. Warner has led and supported initiatives to enhance patient safety, improve workflows and integrate IT projects.
Dr. Warner earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from St. Joseph’s University, his medical degree from RWJ Rutgers Medical School, his Emergency Medicine Residency from Temple University Hospital, and his Master of Business Administration from University of Massachusetts. He is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine and American Academy of Emergency Medicine; Dr. Warner is also a Certified Physician Executive (CPE).
