Bridgeton Main Street Association and Stand Up for Salem have been awarded funding from the Main Street New Jersey District Transformation Grant Program. The award will provide funds to develop and execute a plan for economic growth and community engagement.

Stand Up for Salem received $23,000 to make over Fenwick Plaza and launch a Façade Improvement Program of Broadway storefronts near the plaza.
“The Main Street New Jersey Transformation program is crucial, and gives downtowns a second chance,” said Deputy Speaker Burzichelli (D-Gloucester/Salem/Cumberland).
“These grants will go a long way in revitalizing the Bridgeton and Salem town centers,” said Assemblyman Taliaferro (D-Gloucester/Salem/Cumberland). “Residents will get to enjoy nicer areas to spend time with their friends and families while also benefiting from additional tourism and increased revenues.”
