The Millville Woman’s Club (MWC) is a strong supporter of education as well as overall good citizenship and the Irene T. Decker Good Kid program demonstrates this. Donna Pio, MWC Education Chair, collaborates with Lakeside Middle School and the school selects a female and a male student for this award based on conduct, grades, character and helpfulness to the community.
Holly Burns and Zaahir Bailey were chosen to receive the Good Kid awards this year. Donna Pio was pleased to present each with a Good Kid certificate and $100 gift card following their 8th grade Step-Up Ceremony earlier this month. Both of their proud families were present. MWC wishes them well as they move on to high school.
