Pre-screenings are underway at the Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA for the fall/winter competitive swimming season. The team’s next pre-screenings are set for Tuesdays, August 13 or 20 and Wednesdays, August 14 and 21. Both will begin at 6:15 p.m. and are designed for those who have not swum with the Seals or Penguin teams last year. The Y swim teams are for youngsters aged six to 18 years old. Participants must be able to swim a length of the pool on front and back without assistance or stopping.

The Seals’ season will run from October of 2019 through to February or March of 2020. Starting in September, there will be fall swim camps for new swimmers. Practices will be held two to four times per week throughout the season.
