Last spring’s Census of Agriculture revealed that New Jersey is No. 1 in the nation in acres harvested for eggplant.
At 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, Secretary of Agriculture Douglas Fisher will be at Flaim Farms, 1958 Panther Rd., Vineland, to highlight eggplant and its No. 1 ranking for the state.
