Community FoodBank of New Jersey Raises $110K

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ) proudly announced the success of its seventh annual Night of 300,000 Meals, an inspiring evening of food, music, and community dedicated to raising funds to address hunger in South Jersey.

Held at CFBNJ’s Egg Harbor Township location, the event raised $110,000, exceeding its goal of raising enough to provide 300,000 meals for South Jersey residents facing food insecurity. Thanks to the generosity of guests, sponsors, and supporters, the event will help sustain a wide range of critical hunger relief programs, including nutrition assistance, educational initiatives, diaper and period product distribution, SNAP application support, and services for college food pantries. These programs address both immediate needs and the long-term causes of food insecurity.

Night of 300,000 Meals brought together local chefs, business leaders, and community members for an evening of generosity and celebration, featuring signature dishes from participating restaurants and specialty cocktails crafted by Tito’s Handmade Vodka at their branded bar.

Guests enjoyed live music by the Eddie Morgan Duo and had the opportunity to tour CFBNJ’s Egg Harbor Township warehouse, which has the capacity to store up to 1.6 million pounds of food. Attendees also viewed the organization’s on-site Community Assistance Pantry, which currently serves about 1,800 local families every month.

“This event is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when our community comes together with a shared purpose,” said Elizabeth McCarthy, President & CEO of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. “The support we’ve received this year strengthens our ability to address food insecurity and its impact on health and stability. With South Jersey experiencing some of the highest food insecurity rates in the state, events like this are essential—not only for immediate relief, but also for building long-term solutions.”

This year’s Presenting Sponsors were the Casino Association of New Jersey, Caesars Foundation, and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. As part of the evening’s program, the Casino Association of New Jersey presented a check to support CFBNJ’s work and reinforce its commitment to giving back to the community. CFBNJ extends its gratitude to all participating restaurants, beverage sponsors, volunteers, and guests, whose contributions helped make the event such a success.
