Carmelo’s Ristorante to Be Featured on America’s Best Restaurants
Local eatery, Carmelo’s Ristorante, will be hosting a visit from America’s Best Restaurants (ABR) in late April 2025.
America’s Best Restaurants, a national media and marketing company focusing on bringing attention to local, independently-owned restaurants, will bring its ABR Roadshow to the restaurant on April 24th. Popular dishes will be highlighted, along with an extensive on-camera interview with the owners and other key staff about the restaurant’s special place in the community. The episode will be aired extensively on social media channels at a later date.
A longtime neighborhood favorite since 1985, Carmelo’s is family-owned by brothers Sam, Lou, and Chris Lairson. They serve up a massive Italian-American menu of starters, soups and salads, stromboli and calzones, hoagies and sandwiches, flatbreads, pizzas, pastas, paninis, wraps and burgers, wings and hot entrees. They also offer daily specials.
Popular menu items that may be featured on the episode include the Chicken Parmigiana, the Margherita Pizza, and Garlic Knots.
The brothers hope their episode gains them some community attention and the opportunity to set themselves apart as a local business. They know that social media is the way to gain additional business.
“What I hope to see is some excitement built up locally,” Sam notes. “We don’t want to be lost in the sauce of the national brand implosion that’s coming on. Typical advertising that we used to do doesn’t work anymore.”
America’s Best Restaurants will be filming on location on Thursday April 24th from 9 am to noon EST. The restaurant’s finished episode premiere date will be announced on their Facebook page and will be featured on America’s Best Restaurants’ website.
Restaurants featured on the ABR Roadshow are selected based on their customer reviews, menu items, social media presence, and level of involvement with their community.
