Julius Jakubek, a Junior at St. Augustine Preparatory School in Richland, NJ collected “Cardigans for Kids” for Vineland Public School students. In addition, new socks were collected for the students. In total, 50 cardigans and 160 pairs of socks were donated for the drive. He distributed all donations to D’Ippolito Elementary School and Petway Elementary School.

When asked why he decided to start this drive on the SNJToday radio station, Julius replied, “I attended Vineland Public Schools grades kindergarten through eighth, and saw a need for students who wore clothing items that didn’t adhere to the uniform policy.”

Julius would like to thank all those who generously donated cardigans and/or socks. He looks forward to continuing “Cardigans for Kids” in the near future.
