At an open house held last week at the Vineland Historical and Antiquarian Society (VHAS), Deborah Boerner Ein donated the recently published special edition of her book, Mary Treat: A Biography, to the society for its archives. The hardcover edition includes the 15 letters exchanged between Charles Darwin and Treat, an early resident of Vineland who corresponded with Darwin more than any other woman scientist as they both studied carnivorous plants. This edition of the book is available only from the publisher at http://tinyurl.com/4dj8uedd
