Are you housebound, or have difficulty getting out to see a healthcare provider? Do you have a chronic condition that needs regular medical attention? Are there times you wish a healthcare provider could come to you? Well, your wish can come true. Angelic Health now provides Primary Medicine and makes house calls. Angelic Health’s Advanced Practice Nurse Janet Gibson, APN, FNP-BC heads the Primary Medicine program, and provides primary care, physicals, wellness check, sick visit, and chronic disease management to patients in their homes. Most insurance plans are accepted. To schedule a visit, call 609-464-1135, or e-mail [email protected].
“We found that many people are not getting the care they need because they do not have the means to travel to see a physician,” said Angelic Health CEO Dan Mikus, MSW, MBA. “This is why we started the Primary Medicine service, so that we meet the healthcare needs of the community, wherever they are.”
Gibson (pictured above), who lives in Bridgeton, has been an RN since 2000, working in hospital, hospice and palliative care. She became an Advance Practice Nurse more than five years ago and is expected to receive her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University in December of this year. She has a master’s in science in Nursing from Wesley College in Delaware, and master’s in business administration from American intercontinental University; and has certification from the ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center) as a Nurse Executive and Family Nurse Practitioner, and a post-masters’ certificate for Family Nurse Practitioner from Stockton University.
Angelic Health provides hospice, palliative, transitional, wound care management, and now primary medicine, wherever a patient calls home.
