Holiday Procession and Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 28 in Sea Isle City
Mayor Leonard Desiderio invites everyone to kick-off the 2025 holiday season in grand style during Sea Isle City’s Holiday Procession and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 28.
The fun will begin at 6:00 PM with a festive Holiday Process along JFK Boulevard, featuring costumed holiday characters, live music, families, representatives from local civic organizations, and Santa Claus. The Procession will start in front of the Sea Isle City Welcome Center (300 JFK Boulevard) and run east along JFK Boulevard to Excursion Park (JFK and Pleasure Avenue), where it will conclude at the Excursion Park Band Shell.
Once Santa and Mayor Desiderio arrive at the Band Shell, they will immediately begin this year’s Tree Lighting Ceremony, which will include Christmas carols, inflatable family photo-op stations, and the lighting of Sea Isle City’s huge Christmas Tree. After the tree is illuminated, children will be invited onto the Band Shell’s stage to pose for pictures with Santa and receive treats.
While the Tree Lighting Ceremony is taking place, the Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce’s 2-day “Winter Village” will be underway at Excursion Park, which will feature food and merchandise vendors on Friday and Saturday – plus additional family activities on Saturday.
