‘Laughter for a Cause’ to Roast Mercado, Benefit Boys and Girls Club
Get ready to laugh for a good cause. The Vineland community is gearing up for its 3rd Annual Comedy Charity Roast, an event designed to raise funds for vital local organizations.
“We’re thrilled to bring this fun and impactful event back to Vineland for its third year,” said Michele “Chatterchik” Low, creator and event organizer. “The Comedy Charity Roast offers a unique way for our community to come together, enjoy a night of laughter, and make a real difference in the lives of those served by the Boys and Girls Club of Cumberland County and Vineland Turkey Drive.”
This year, the brave soul stepping into the “hot seat” to be good-naturedly roasted is retiring Fire Captain Carlos A. Mercado. His comedic takedown will benefit Boys and Girls Clubs of Cumberland County and the Vineland Turkey Drive.
The 2025 Comedy Charity Roast will take place on Friday, October 3, from 6 to 10 p.m., at Merighi’s Savoy Inn, 4940 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. The event is sponsored by Ace Plumbing and Sir Speedy of Vineland with tickets available for purchase at Ace Plumbing (Michele) 856-404-0644; Sir Speedy (Alison), 856-691-0741; Carlos Mercado: 856-207-2149; or Tom Merighi: 856-691-8051.
