7 Brew Chooses Washington Township for First South Jersey Coffee Stand

7 Brew Opens First South Jersey

A growing coffee chain called 7 Brew opened its first location in New Jersey, in Washington Township, Gloucester County.

Located at 5200 Route 42 in the Turnersville area, inside Ganttown Plaza, it sits directly across from the new restaurant Raising Cane, which places it in a busy area where many people stop for food and drinks.

This will be the first time 7 Brew has set up shop in New Jersey, even though it already has hundreds of stands in other states.

7 Brew started in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, and it was created by Ron Crume and his family, who wanted to serve coffee quickly while keeping things fun and high in quality.

Since then, the company has opened drive-thru coffee stands across the country. As of now, there are 352 stands in 26 states, but this new location in Washington Township is the first in New Jersey.

What makes 7 Brew different from regular coffee shops is that it is drive-thru only, meaning customers stay in their cars while a worker walks up to the car with a tablet, takes the order, and then hands the drinks to the customer through the window.

The new stand in Washington Township was built using modular construction, which means the building was put together in a different place and then brought to its final spot on Route 42 for final assembly.

Local officials, including Mayor Anthony DellaPia and Councilman Peter M. Del Borrello III, were there on the morning the stand was delivered, and they wore safety vests and hard hats to help welcome the 7 Brew team and owners Zach Rosskamm and Shunori Ramanathan.

This event showed how excited the township is about this new business coming in, and it also fits with efforts to bring new life to the Route 42 corridor, where some projects have already been approved, and others are still waiting for approval.

Mayor DellaPia said he hopes 7 Brew is just the beginning of new changes along Route 42, and he and other township leaders are working to improve that part of the area so people can expect more businesses and fresh developments in the future.

As for what you can get at 7 Brew, the menu is large, and they serve coffee, smoothies, teas, energy drinks, shakes, and drinks with sparkling water while also letting customers customize their order or try drinks from a “secret” menu.

The first seven drinks that 7 Brew offered when it started were called the Blondie, Brunette, Smooth 7, Cinnamon Roll, white chocolate mocha, German Chocolate, and Triple 7, and these drinks helped the brand grow, so customers can still order them today.

Most 7 Brew locations are owned by local people, like Rosskamm and Ramanathan in Washington Township, while about 17 are owned by the company itself, helping the brand grow fast across the country.

In fact, the company plans to have 550 locations open by the end of the year, so it is clear that they are expanding fast and have plans for more growth.

Councilman Del Borrello also shared his excitement online on March 8, posting about the delivery of the 7 Brew stand. He mentioned that everyone involved is happy to welcome this new business and looks forward to the ribbon-cutting event, which will officially open the stand to the public.

For now, if you want to try 7 Brew in New Jersey, you will have to visit the Washington Township location, and there is no news yet about other stands opening in the state.

But who knows? With the first NJ location now open, more 7 Brew stands may soon appear in the coming months throughout the state.
