4th of July Fireworks Displays in the Region
Vineland: Gene Iannette and the Rowan College Symphony will perform at the Enrico Serra bandshell at Giampietro Park in Vineland. Starts at 7 p.m. Fireworks display begins after the concert at Vineland High School at 9 p.m. Note: Special arrangements may be made to accommodate those with disabilities. Bridgeton: Bridgeton Independence Day Celebration, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Alden Field, Bridgeton City Park. Fireworks begin at dusk.
Millville: The City of Millville will host a July 4th celebration at Union Lake Park from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Address: 1414 Canal Street. Fireworks at dusk. Event includes pie-eating contests as well as watermelon-eating contests. Plus, backyard games and live music.
Ocean City: If you’re planning to ring in the Fourth at the beach this year, Ocean City’s events begin at 7 p.m. with a kite flying competition at 7 p.m. The Ocean City Pops will hold a free outdoor concert at 6th and the Boardwalk at Carey Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Bring a beach towel to sit on the field or find room on the bleachers. Fireworks begin at about 9 p.m.
Other Shore displays:
Cape May: 9:30 p.m. July 4. Fireworks will be launched from a barge across from Congress Hall.
Wildwood: 10 p.m. July 4. Fireworks will be launched from the beach at Pine Avenue and will be synchronized with patriotic songs.
