The sounds of the holidays will fill the Sol and Jean Davidow Performing Arts Theatre at Salem Community College when the SCC Oak Singers present "Winter’s Light - A Holiday Concert" on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.

Salem Community College (SCC) celebrated its esteemed past and exciting future in the glass world with the dedication of the Samuel and Jean Jones Glass Education Center. The 20,000-square-foot facility honors longtime benefactors whose generosity transformed a bold idea – moving the glass center back to campus in Carneys Point after 10 years in Alloway – into a reality.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties is now taking reservations for their annual "Rise & Shine Breakfast," which is scheduled for Giving Tuesday on Dec. 3 at The Grove at Centerton located at 1022 Almond Road in Pittsgrove. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. with a mix and mingle, and the full program will start at 8:00 a.m.
