Joseph Derella, director of the Cumberland Board of Commissioners, was sworn in as the second Vice President of the New Jersey Association of Counties (NJAC) at its virtual annual reorganization meeting held on January 29. The NJAC is dedicated to advocating for legislation, regulations and policy directives that empower county governments to operate more efficiently and effectively.

North Vineland Little League Signups

North Vineland Little League has announced sign-up dates and a need for volunteers and sponsors. This year they plan to have baseball for kids ages 9 through 16. They are seeking volunteers to help manage/coach teams in the minor and major divisions. They plan to have six signup dates at Cunningham Park, located at West Avenue and Wheat Road in Vineland:

• Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon: February 20 and 27, and March 6.

Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m.: February 25, March 4 and 11
