Bridgeton Main Street Association and Stand Up for Salem were awarded funding from the Main Street New Jersey District Transformation Grant Program.
The Bridgeton Main Street Association received $17,500 to provide assistance in marketing the downtown district as a destination and improving safety and engagement through art initiatives. The award will provide funds to develop and execute a plan for economic growth and community engagement. Stand Up for Salem received $23,000 to make over Fenwick Plaza and launch a Façade Improvement Program of Broadway storefronts near the plaza.
Main Street New Jersey is a Main Street America™ Coordinating Program which works with communities in NJ to provide on- and off-site technical assistance and training in downtown revitalization and management.
