Millville High School Fall Play: 13 Past Midnight
November 18 @ 7:00 pm - November 20 @ 7:00 pm
Join the Fine and Performing Arts department for a night of mysterious twists and turns in the 2021 Fall Play, “13 Past Midnight,” showing on November 18th, 19th, and 20th at 7:00pm at the Lakeside Performing Arts Center.
When powerful millionaire Victor Winslow, producer of a popular TV soap opera, invites members of the cast and crew to his mansion for a party, none dare refuse. Winslow informs his guests that he has assembled them to help him develop a new murder mystery game he’s invented called “13 Past Midnight.” But before the game begins, the host gives the players ample motives to want to kill him – for real! Director Margaret Keefer is excited to be returning to this production. “I’ve been directing for over 25 years and this play is one of my favorites,” she said. “While it is a murder mystery, there are more moments of pure fun and comedy.”
The cast is made up of mostly newcomers to the MHS stage. Between cast, stage crew, building crew, and ushers, there are over 30 students involved in this production. Seniors Natalie Harrison and Mark Green partnered as the student directors for this production.
Harrison shared, “This is one of the best casts I have ever worked with. We all have a great bond and care for each other. Being a student director has allowed me to grow as an actor as well as a leader. Everyone has worked so hard to make this show a success.”
Green echoed her sentiment: “This group has an amazing work ethic, and we have a strong bond. I’m honored to be student director.”
Tickets will also be sold at the door for $10 (cash only). Masks will be worn by the audience. The actors will be unmasked on stage.
