Free Jazz Concert — Celebrating The Music of Paul Motian

Please join the Glasstown Arts District and Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts for an evening of jazz on Wednesday, May 11, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 22 N. High Street, Millville, NJ. Reserve your seat by phoning 856-327-4500.
Musicians Jody Janetta (percussion), Matt Landis (keyboards), Rob Smith (bass), and Tony Mascara, Jr (drums/percussion) are thrilled to be back LIVE!
The concert will be focusing on the music of the late jazz drummer Paul Motian (Mar. 25, 1931–Nov. 22, 2011).
A number of unreleased Paul Motian compositions: Untitled 1, Untitled 2, “Tacho,” “The Hymn,” “Dreamworld and Tales of The Unexpected,” will be performed. There will also be a bit of open improvisation. This performance will be audio and video recorded by Roland Kaelin for a future release.
Admission is free and donations are always welcomed.
