Campus Pauses to Remember September 11

Rowan College of South Jersey-Cumberland Campus marked the 18th anniversary of the deadly September 11 attacks, which claimed the lives of 2,996 individuals and injured more than 6,000 others.

A brief ceremony took place around the Trustees Fountain, where Cumberland County officials, law enforcement officers, RCSJ staff and students gathered to pay their respects. The New Jersey State Corrections Honor Guard and their bagpipers set the tone for the moving tribute.

Those in attendance were given American flags to place in the ground in remembrance of those who died on September 11, 2001.
