                                                                                                           Counselor of the County
                                                                                                              Mary Bacon has been awarded the title of 2024
                                                                                                           Counselor of the County for Cumberland County. The
                                                                                                           New Jersey School Counselor Association awards
                                                                                                           this honor each year to one school counselor in each
                                                                                                           county in New Jersey. Counselors are nominated by
                                                                                                           their colleagues and winners are selected by their own
                                                                                                           county’s School Counselor Associations.

                                                                                 For 100 years the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer has established itself with
                                                                               a presence in Vineland by providing a place of worship and fellowship open to all.
                                                                               These 100 years were recently celebrated with a special Anniversary Service and
                       2024 SEASON OPENING                                     Celebration led by The Reverend Tracie Bartholomew, ELCA Bishop of New Jersey.
                                                                                 The day included the presentation of funds from Redeemer’s Mission 2024
                                                                               Campaign to Reverend Dr. Moses Suah-Dennis toward the renovation costs of a
                                                                               building at the Lutheran University in Liberia where they are developing a School of
                   S ing                                                       Agriculture and a School of Nursing.
                                                                                 In the past, Redeemer membership has assisted with the building of a Habitat
                                                                               House and renovating a building at the Cumberland Family Shelter as well as mak-
                                                                               ing care packages for our soldiers. Members have also addressed the needs of the
                                                                               people in the Vineland area by providing children’s day care at Little Acres, residence
                                                                               care for seniors and the disabled at Luther Acres and guidance through the Vineland

                                                                                 Redeemer continues to provide volunteers and/or financial support to Code
