CAMDEN, N.J. – The Quaker City String Band concert at Cooper River Park scheduled for Thursday, June 13, has been postponed and rescheduled for July 11 at 8:00 p.m.
The concert, part of the Twilight Concert at Cooper River Park, was postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions and in the interest of public safety.
“While we are always focused on bringing incredible events and entertainers to Camden County, our primary concern is the safety of our attendees and residents,” Freeholder Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Camden County Department of Special Events said in a press release. “Tonight’s forecast is calling for possible storms and rain throughout the evening, creating unsafe conditions for concert-goers and the performers alike.”
