Cherry Hill Police Department Search for Sexual Assault Suspect

CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Officials from the Cherry Hill Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a sexual assault suspect.

The sexual assault occurred after the victim and the suspect encountered each other at a Wawa at 500 Route 38 on Saturday, May 4th, at around 3:15 p.m. The two traveled in the victims’ vehicle to an undetermined location, which is where the assault took place.

Officials say the suspect left by unknown means and the victim returned home and notified police.

The suspect is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s, average height and build, with black hair and a beard.
