GLOUCESTER COUNTY – On Thursday, June 20th, United Way of Gloucester County and the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce are rallying volunteers throughout the community for Day of Action, an annual event that mobilizes the caring power of volunteers to make a meaningful impact.

In Gloucester County, Day of Action will be split into a morning and afternoon session. The morning session will start with networking and breakfast at the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey’s Camp Sacajawea in Newfield, and the afternoon portion will be a networking luncheon at the Arc Gloucester’s Camp Sun N Fun. After networking, volunteers will head to their selected volunteer projects.

There will be 14 volunteer opportunities with 10 organizations, including Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey, the Arc Gloucester, Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County, Repauno Preschool Daycare, SHADOW Equestrian, Center for Family Services, Borough of Clayton, Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries and more.
